The project consisted of the rehabilitation of 3,32 km of Noordhoek Road (MR103) including
geometrical improvement to the Silvermine Road and Houmoed Road intersections.
The pavement rehabilitation involved the cold in-situ recycling of the existing base to a depth of
200mm and the subsequent placing of a 40mm continuously graded asphalt surfacing. Part of the
contract also included the installation of mole barriers
