This project was undertaken in the Northern Cape for the development of a new wind farm facility.
The geotechnical assessment and interpretation was undertaken to assist the Client, Consolidated
Power Projects in the construction of Groeipunt transmission station, IPP and distribution substation
and distribution masts.
Some of the key features of this project were:
- Challenging site in a remote part of the Northern Cape
- Variable geotechnical considerations across a large area
- Interaction with various professional parties to achieve the project objective
